Church news

  • The  roof appeal has been successful due to very generous local and charitable donations and it is hoped this will be repaired in April when the bats  will not be disturbed.
  • It is not certain whether the Church services will be as normal during the works so please look for notices at the time or check with Mary on 770242.
  • Bell ringing practice has started regularly; several new recruits including some younger ones are learning and are practising hard in order to be good enough to join the National Platinum Jubilee ringing in June. Caldecott is part of the 4 week Benefice practice rota on Monday evenings. So far no weddings or visitors are booked for 2022 but this could change and sometimes ringers are requested for funerals.
  • Church and Churchyard annual spring clean-this will be held on Saturday April 9th at 10 am unless building work stops us; the regulars do a grand job all year but this is a chance to do a few extra bits inside and outside.
  • Lilies – Easter Lilies  need to be ordered on 1st April and collected on 8th April in order to be out for Easter. Please let Mary know on 770242 if you would like to contribute.
