CHURCH NEWS
Following the retirement of the Revd Canon Jane Baxter, services are continuing as before, with visiting priests taking the Communion services on the first Sunday of each month.
We hope this arrangement will continue during the vacancy period, but please check the notice boards for up-to-date information.
The church bells are now working again, and practices will take place on Mondays approximately once a month. Anyone interested in learning is very welcome to come along and see what is involved.
FÊTE
Plans are well underway, and we are now happy to receive items for “Granny’s Attic”. Donations can be delivered to the Village Hall – please contact June on 770046 (Hall open Thursdays from 1.30–3.30pm) or Mary on 770242.
Please note: no electrical goods or clothing, but paperback books are very welcome. Tombola prizes would also be greatly appreciated.
