Church News:

The scaffolding has now been removed from the tower. Once everything has been checked and the ropes rehung, we hope bell ringing will recommence. Practices are usually held on Mondays every 3–4 weeks, alongside some services and occasional events such as weddings and funerals. Anyone interested in learning to ring is very welcome to come along and have a look.

The Annual Parochial Church Meeting on 8th April will be the last to be chaired by the Reverend Canon Jane Baxter, who has been our Parish Priest for 22 years. Please come along to support her, as well as your small but hardworking PCC, who are facing a busy time during the vacancy.

Mowing:

Gary has already been busy in the churchyard and on the Hall green. We are extremely grateful to him and the other volunteers for their help. We kindly ask all dog walkers to be responsible and clean up after their dogs, as the health risks and potential damage to machinery could result in work having to stop.

Fête:

A positive meeting was held on 10th March, and plans are underway for the fête on 4th July. The next meeting will take place on 12th May at 7.30pm in the Hall. Any offers of help or new ideas would be very welcome. More information will follow next month.

Food Bank:

We continue to support the Food Bank and its work with families in difficulty. Donations can be left in the Church or at 14 Main Street
