Church News

The notice board on the Uppingham Road developed foot rot but has been renovated by Stuart Graveson and is now very steady on its new legs – many thanks for this and all his other help and advice.

We have birds in the belfry – does anyone know a builder who would be willing to go up in the spire to refix the wire mesh on the ‘windows’? If so please contact Mary on 01536 770242.

Garden Evening

This annual event is planned for Wednesday 19th July at 6pm at Fernleigh House; usual format – BYO drinks; raffle, bring & buy stall, whisky bottle game and croquet.

Report next month. Many thanks to Gary, Jake and Dean for the Churchyard and Hall Green upkeep – it all looks very tidy for this weekend’s event.

Food Bank

Please leave any donations at 14 Main Street or in the Church; we manage to deliver items most months – thank you to all who give so generously.
