Dates for July
Thursday 6th at 7.30pm in the Village Hall – ladies group talk on Modern Slavery, visitors are welcome.
Thursday 13th at 7.30pm Parish Council in the Village Hall – residents may attend to bring up matters of concern.
100 Club draw

June winners -1st no 99 – Lorraine Smith; 2nd no 18 – Kelly Lawrie; 3rd no 64 – Denis Owens.
The next draw will be in August.
Church News
The notice board on the Uppingham Road developed foot rot but has been renovated by Stuart Graveson and is now very steady on its new legs – many thanks for this and all his other help and advice.
We have birds in the belfry – does anyone know a builder who would be willing to go up in the spire to refix the wire mesh on the ‘windows’? If so please contact Mary on 01536 770242.
Garden Evening
This annual event is planned for Wednesday 19th July at 6pm at Fernleigh House; usual format – BYO drinks; raffle, bring & buy stall, whisky bottle game and croquet.
Fete
Report next month. Many thanks to Gary, Jake and Dean for the Churchyard and Hall Green upkeep – it all looks very tidy for this weekend’s event.
